Prior to using ACHS, Inc. I encountered major challenges with the construction/installation of the HVAC system fo rmy new offices including “non-constructible” ductwork configurations, errors and omissions on the return air details, modification of the roof AHU’s to accommodate a ground mounted configuration and inconsistencies regarding firewall through-penetrations that were part of the approved CD’s. I was fortunate and quite impressed that ACHS, Inc. took the problem solving approach to these challenges and was able to provide cost-effective solutions, including redesigning the air delivery and distribution system, return air and firewall sealing details which were reviewed and appoved by City Building Inspectors and the Fire Department, during site visits. I had no idea how much time and money I would have spent on resubmittals, mechanical engineering fees and delays pending responses to requests for information.
